Role Overview:
The Assistant Category Sales Specialist will support the Category Sales Specialist in managing the day-to-day operations of the Networking category (focusing on TP Link and Tapo brands) across key retail accounts. The primary responsibility will be assisting with order processing, maintaining range plans, and pricing accuracy, and handling administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Order Processing:
Assist in processing and tracking orders for the retailers.
Ensure all orders are accurately captured and followed up with relevant stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery.
Coordinate with supply chain and logistics teams to monitor stock availability and delivery timelines.
Range Plans & Pricing Management:
Maintain up-to-date range plans for TP Link and Tapo products in collaboration with the Category Sales Specialist.
Ensure pricing is aligned with market trends and retail agreements, updating systems with the latest pricing changes.
Assist in preparing pricing proposals and ensure they are effectively communicated to retailers.
Retail Account Support:
Support the Category Sales Specialist in day-to-day management of retail accounts.
Respond to retailer inquiries and follow up on any issues related to orders, pricing, or stock availability.
Assist in resolving any account-related issues in coordination with internal teams.
Sales & Performance Reporting:
Assist in tracking and reporting sales performance for TP Link and Tapo categories.
Support the preparation of sales reports, performance summaries, and forecasts to share with the Category Sales Specialist and retail partners.
Administrative Support:
Track and report on sales performance for TP Link and Tapo products, highlighting trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
Provide regular reports and updates to stakeholders on category performance.
Utilize data to forecast sales, track competitor activity, and make recommendations for pricing or product adjustments.
Collaboration & Cross-Functional Work:
Support communication between internal teams and retail partners to ensure alignment on stock levels and promotional plans.
