Position Overview:
As a Retail Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations of multiple retail stores across the country, ensuring smooth functioning, profitability, and adherence to company standards. Your primary duties will include recruitment, coordination, training, and management of a large team of retail staff. Additionally, you will play a crucial in maintaining a positive work environment, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Staff Management:

Supervise and lead a team of 100+ retail staff members across multiple locations.
Recruit, onboard, and train new employees, ensuring alignment with company values and standards.
Develop and implement performance management systems, including regular evaluations, coaching, and disciplinary actions when necessary.
Foster a positive work culture that promotes teamwork, accountability, and employee engagement.

Store Operations:

Oversee day-to-day operations of all retail stores, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Monitor inventory levels, merchandise displays, and store cleanliness to enhance customer experience and drive sales.
Analyse sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for improvement and develop strategies to maximize revenue.


Reporting and Compliance:
Regularly assess store compliance with company standards, policies, and procedures.
Develop and implement audit processes to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and brand guidelines.
Generate comprehensive reports on store performance, compliance issues, and corrective actions taken.
Present findings and recommendations to senior management, providing insights to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence across all stores.

Customer Service:

Uphold high standards of customer service across all stores, resolving escalated customer issues promptly and effectively.
Implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction, loyalty, and retention.

HR Management:

Implement HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations.
Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution, grievance handling, and mediation.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or related field (preferred).
Proven experience in retail management, with a track record of success in managing multiple stores and large teams.
Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve goals and exceed expectations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a customer-focused mindset.
Sound knowledge of retail operations, merchandising techniques, and sales strategies.
Proficiency in HR management, including recruitment, training, and employee relations.
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and make data-driven decisions.
Familiarity with POS systems, inventory management software, and other retail technology platforms.


Regular Travel:
Expectation of regular travel to visit retail stores across the country.
Conduct on-site visits to assess store operations, provide support to store managers, and ensure consistency in standards and practices.
Travel may include overnight stays and occasional weekend work to accommodate store visits and meetings as needed.
